How to Secure 2nd Step-Thru Bike When the Ratchet Hook Arm Does Not Go Low Enough
Question:
We got 2 new townies 7d step through brought our Hollywood rack to take them home but couldn’t get them both to fit- the bar would go down enough for the back one but not the front one! Any ideas?

I do have a recommendation for your 2 Townie step-thru bikes on your Hollywood rack. You can use the Hollywood Racks Bike Frame Adapter Bar # HRBA-PRO. Since the second bar sits higher and does not come down enough to secure your bike, you can use the adapter bar to raise the attachment point on that front bike.
The Hollywood Racks Bike Frame Adapter Bar # HRBA-PRO will fit between the seat post and handlebar stem post, this will raise the attachment point up so you can secure your bike. This adapter bar has an 80 lb. capacity when used on a platform bike rack.
