Will The Haynes Air Actuated Trailer Brake Controller Compatible With Electric Over Hydraulic Brakes

Question:

I have a hydrastar EOH trailer actuator. I purchased HBA-CAM for compatibility with my 2013 Silverado. It worked great. I also have a 2005 International 8600 with a Hayes 100400C air actuated controller that I’d like to pull the same trailer with. Is there a compatible HBA-CAM that will do the same thing? If so, can the two HBA-CAMs be operated together without causing interference? Thank you.

I went ahead and checked, and Hydrastar does not offer something like # HBA-CAM for your 2008 International 8600.

However with the Hayes Air Actuated Trailer Brake Controller # HA100400C, you don't need # HBA-CAM because this brake controller will activate your trailer brakes in proportion to your truck's braking action, and also will tie into your air brakes to sense the amount of pressure you apply, and will work with electric and electric-over-hydraulic brakes on your trailer.
