Setting Tekonsha P3 Brake Controller to Electric Over Hydraulic Mode
Question:
Im changing by electric brakes to disc brake with a electric - hydraulic actuator. Do I set the controller to electric or hydraulic operation?

Helpful Expert Reply:
To work with your electric over hydraulic actuator, you would set your Tekonsha P3 to electric over hydraulic mode, by pressing the menu/options button. Then, on the SETUP screen, scroll down to brake type and press OK when Hydraulic is highlighted. It will then ask you to confirm. At this point, in the lower left hand of the display, there should be an H, for Hydraulic.
This procedure is outlined on page 4 of the installation instructions, which I have linked for you in case you do not have them handy.
