Bolt Hole Locations for etrailer Trigger Latch Channel Tongue Coupler for 2" Hitch Ball

Question:

Hi eTrailer, I recently bought a Curt 25153 to replace my Fulton 11-200 on my jetski trailer to avoid having to use a 1 7/8” ball. I noticed the mounting holes are not low enough on the Curt when compared to my Fulton. Would this eTrailer solution help? It’s tough finding the distance from the top of the coupler to the centerline of the mounting holes online. I would hate to oval the existing holes on the tongue of my trailer just to get a coupler to fit. Thank you.

From the top of the coupler to the centerline of the mounting bolt holes for the Channel Tongue Trailer Coupler # CT-3001-Z measures 1-3/8" and then from center of mounting hole to center of mounting hole measures 3-1/16".

Attached is a photo showing these dimensions as well as a review video for you to check out.

You can compare these to the tongue dimensions of your trailer to see if it will work out for you.
