Recommended Trailer Hitch And Heavy E-Bike Rack For A 2018 Honda Accord
Question:
I have a 2018 Honda Accord. I have 2 evoked 48lbs each. I need to install a trailer hitch. Which hitch and rack do you recommend for this? Will I be bottoming out often with a hitch in this car?

For your 2018 Honda Accord, I recommend the:
-Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11525.
This rack eats away practically no ground clearance (shown in picture), while still providing a maximum tongue weight of 200-lbs, and a gross trailer weight of 2,000-lbs.
For a bike rack to haul your heavy e-bikes, I recommend the Saris SuperClamp EX Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # SA4025F. This rack has a maximum carrying capacity of 60-lbs per bike, and since your bikes are 48-lbs each, they're well under the maximum.
Additionally, this bike rack can accommodate up to a 4.5" wide tire, and also features a 5" shank rise keeping your ground clearance acceptable.
Attached is also an installation video for you to check out.
