Will the CIPA Comp II Rearview Boat Mirror Work On a Frameless Windshield

Can the rear view mirror be mounted directly to a glass windshield without a frame?

The CIPA Comp II Rearview Boat Mirror part # CM11080 won't mount directly to a frameless windshield as it requires the frame to meet the 3/8" surface for the clamps to grab hold of. If you have a frameless windshield you'll have to go with a suction cup mounted options like the CIPA Rearview Boat Mirror part # CM11050.
