Can The Brake Buddy Classic III Be Installed In Place Of An Older Brake Buddy II?

My 2009 Jeep Wrangler is wired for a Brake Buddy Classic 2. Can I use a Brake Buddy Classic 3 controller with the existing vehicle wiring or do I need different vehicle wiring?

In order to install the Brake Buddy Classic 3 on your 2009 Jeep Wrangler with existing wiring for the Brake Buddy II, you are going to have to change out the wiring as it has changed between the different models.
To do this, you're just going to need the Brake Buddy Classic 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System # HM39494, which will come with the braking system as well as the new wiring needed for your Wrangler.
Attached is a installation video of the Brake Buddy Classic 3 on a 2009 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited for you to check out as well.
