Will The Ultra-Fab Scissor Jack Affect My Ground Clearance On MY 2020 Casita Independence TT?
Question:
These look great! wondering though if they would affect clearance compared to the ones that came with our 2012 spirit deluxe. I have a very steep driveway.

Expert Reply:
The Ultra-Fab Ultra Scissor Jack # UF48-979006 that you mention will affect the ground clearance on your 2020 Casita Independence TT.
When collapsed, this jack measures 4-3/4" tall, so if your OEM jacks are less than that then these would give less ground clearance.
Since the collapsed height of # UF48-979006 is still relatively compact this should not take away enough ground clearance to prevent you from going up your driveway.
Additionally, these jacks have 24" of lift, and have a 6,500-lb support capacity.
