Trailer Wiring Harness For A 2013 Toyota Highlander
Question:
Can I get the 12v needed for the harness someplace else other than the battery? Running that lead under the vehicle seems like a daunting process..... Thanks.

The Hopkins Plug-In Simple Wiring Harness # HM11141825 will give you a 4 flat harness. This harness plugs directly into your vehicle's factory tow package wiring harness which is located in your rear cargo area, near the spare tire compartment. No 12 volt wire is need to be ran up to the battery.
The 4 way connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. The Mounting Bracket # HM48595 is recommended to keep the connector secure.
