Recommended Trailer Hitch and Wiring for 1965 International Travelall
Question:
Hi, Im looking to purchase a Curt Hitch 14082. what would the appropriate 4 pin flat connecter harness and brackets be? I have a vintage 1965 Travelall that this is going on. There are numerous choices for the wire harness. I like the the idea of the small snap on cover over the pins and the bracket that attaches to or bands to the hitch cross bar sometimes with universal adapter? thank you

Since there is no custom-fit hitch for your 1965 International Travelall, you will want to go with a universal hitch like the Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Service Body Trailer Hitch Receiver # 41990-07. The # C14082 is not confirmed to fit your vehicle. The Draw-Tite hitch has a 2" receiver and fits vehicle frames up to 44". This is a weld-on hitch so we recommend taking it to a certified welder for installation.
For wiring you can use the # C58345 which also comes with a mounting bracket. If you want a cover on the end you can use the # C58200.
