Can Ladder of Thule Basin Rooftop Tent Only Attach to Sides of Tent

Can the ladder attach to the back side of my vehicle like the Basin Wedge?

The Thule Basin Rooftop Tent and Cargo Box # TH32VY that you referenced only has an entry point on the side which is why the ladder only attaches to the side of the tent. Only the wedge version part # TH92VY can have the ladder attach to the rear of it.
