Base Plates for Flat Towing 2012 Honda Accord Coupe
Question:
Hello, I am looking at your base plates for 2012 Honda accord, meaning that my 2012 Honda accord coupe with 6 speed manual transmission can be flat towed? My Honda manual says the car is not design to be tow behind a motorhome. Is there any Honda service bulletin that states that a 2012 Honda accord coupe v6 with 6 speed manual transmission can be tow behind a motorhome? Thanks

So our base plate kit manufacturers will create fits for vehicles as long as their is demand for them. So for your 2012 Honda Accord Coupe we have the Roadmaster base plate kit part # 521565-1 as a confirmed fit. Sometimes manufacturers will state that a vehicle can not be flat towed but people do it anyway which may be the case for your vehicle. Best option for you would be to contact a Honda dealer and see if they have different info and it would be safe to flat to your vehicle. Our understanding is basically any manual transmission vehicle can be flat towed.
