Troubleshooting A Fan-Tastic Fan RV Roof Vent That Isnt Running
Question:
Hello, i checked the fuse and it looks good. Is there a place i can see a wiring diagram so I know where to check for power? It is an older one, probably 2000 or 2001. Thanks

While we don't have a specific wiring diagram for your 2000-2001 Fan-Tastic Fan # FV803350 I can say that all of these vents only have two wire; black (power) and white (ground). If you pull down the trim on the inside of your trailer you'll be able to easily see the wiring and can then check the voltage with a multimeter # PT89ZR. If you're not getting 12v then we know the issue is with the power.
If you are getting 12v then most likely the motor needs to be replaced, which you can do with the Replacement Fan Motor Assembly Kit for Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent Fans # FVK8017-00. This motor is going to replace your fan blade as well and is compatible with the following models, so you'll want to check yours for a model number prior to purchase:
FV800800, FV801200, FV801250, FV802250, FV803350, or FV807350
