Can The Progressive Dynamics PD9160A Converter Charger Power A Badlands ZXR Winch
Question:
Hello, I am trying to find a converter that can take 110 V AC power from a wall outlet and convert to 12V DC. I am looking at this product: Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power RV Converter and Battery Charger - 12V - 60 Amps Item # PD9160A. I want to be able to run a Badlands ZXR 12000 lb winch. I need to know if the PD9160A converter will work to power this winch. Thank you.

The Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power RV Converter and Battery Charger # PD9160A only converts AC current to DC to charge your battery bank. The power for your winch would come solely from the battery.
If you didn't have a battery the Progressive Dynamics Mighty Mini AC/DC Panel and Converter/Smart Charger - 60 Amp # PD4060K would be able to convert AC current to DC current to power the winch.
