Recommended Replacement Brake Controller for 1993 Ford F-250
Question:
I have 1993 F250. The current trailer brake controller on it is ancient. When I apply brakes it is all or nothing and locks up easily. I was told to get a newer brake controller that is adjustable to fix this. But which one? Please advise!

The Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty # RED52VR you were looking at would make a great replacement. I highly recommend this brake controller. The main unit mounts out of sight so it isn't in the way. Only the control knob will be visible in the cab of your truck.
The knob controls the braking power and also acts as the manual override. It uses a 3-axis accelerometer to sense deceleration and active calibration technology to monitor the direction of travel. The brakes will be applied in proportion to your vehicle's braking action which will be a big difference and provide you with a much better towing experience.
I have attached an installation video for your reference.
