Can Reese Friction Sway Control be Used without Weight Distribution System
Question:
Can a Rees friction hitch be used with out a weight distribution hitch. I am looking at Rees friction hitch item # 83660

Helpful Expert Reply:
Yes, the Reese Friction Sway Control part # 83660 can be used without a weight distribution system. Most people use it without a WD system actually.
You will need to add a bracket to your ball mount for the smaller ball to attach. For that we have the part # RP26003 for ball mounts that fit 2 inch hitches. Or if you wanted to weld on a bracket to your current ball mount you could use the part # 3442.
