Running a Two Wire RV Furnace to Single Wire Advent Air AC Unit Thermostat
Question:
there are 2 wires from the furnance coming back to the old dometic AC unit. the Advent unit has one line coming out of the box. it looks like the dometic controller in the ac unit has the designation on both lines called y. how do i connect the furnance lines up?

Expert Reply:
There should be a positive and negative wire that comes from your furnace. One being Therm+ and other being Therm-. Therm+ needs to be capped off and Therm- needs to run to the brown/white wire of the Advent thermostat control. You might need to consult the manual of your thermostat to ID both wires.
