Parts Needed to Flat Tow a 2022 Jeep Wrangler and Add a Hitch and 4-way Wiring to the Jeep

I have a 2022 Jeep Wrangler that I would like to set up to flat tow behind my motorhome. I would also like to install a trailer hitch as it did not come with the factory tow package. I would like to know if you stock a “plug in” harness for a 4 flat trailer connection. Also, I was wondering if you had a tow wiring harness for the same Jeep to plug into the 7 pin on the motorhome. Hopefully, this harness would also be compatible to be plugged in with the trailer wiring as well it would be a doubled splice adapter at each rear light assembly.

We have the parts that you need to set up your 2022 Jeep Wrangler for flat towing and to get it set-up with a tow package. But the wiring will not work the way you are hoping. The 4-way connector on your Jeep will be located at the back by the hitch and will allow you to have lights on a trailer when you are towing one with the Jeep. The connector to go to the 7-way on your motorhome will be at the front of the vehicle and allows your motorhome to tie into the Jeeps lights when flat towing the Jeep.

The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98856 is confirmed to fit your 2022 Jeep Wrangler and will provide you with a 2" hitch receiver.

The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118786 will provide the 4-way you are wanting and plugs in behind your tail lights. You would then need to run the hot lead up to your Jeeps battery.

To flat tow your 2022 Jeep Wrangler you will need at least 5 essential parts. These parts being a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, tow bar wiring and a supplemental braking system. I have provided each of those parts below along with a brief description of their purpose.

Base Plate Kit: This is a custom fit part for your Jeep that provides the attachment points for the tow bar.
