I agree that you would need a full height solution in order for the boats to extend over the cab. With that being said, the Reconn Deck # RR93SP and # RR43SP will force your boats to protrude backward and most likely interfere with the trailer.

In order to maximize the space between your cab of your 2020 Ram 1500 and your travel trailer for 4 kayaks, I strongly recommend mounting the boats on a cab roof rack. Whether you have a crew cab or a quad cab, the rack that will provide you with the most weight capacity without drilling (165 pounds) include the following parts:

- Thule SquareBar Evo # TH712500
- Evo Clamp Feet # TH710501
- Fit Kit # TH145199
- Same-Key Lock Cores # TH450400

With these crossbars installed on your cab, you can then attach a kayak carrier directly to the bars. I suggest the the Rhino-Rack Nautic Stack # RRS520. With the Nautic Stack, you will be able to carry up to 4 kayaks with the front end of the kayaks extending in front of the cab to increase available space. It comes with a 165 pound weight capacity so you will be able to use the full 165 pounds of the Thule roof rack.

If you don't have tie-down points on your truck for the bow/stern ties, you need the # RRRBAS-2. Additionally, you will need 2 sets of the # RRRBAS-RTD55P-RTD45P in order to fasten your 4 kayaks. This kit already comes with the anchor straps.
