Can You Add a Third Crossbar To a 2012 Honda Pilot
Question:
I have a 2012 Honda Pilot. The factory side-rails only extend to the center of the roof. The front of the roof has a skylight which I never open/pop-up. Because of the rearward placement of the side rails, centering my canoe on the racks SportRack feet and load bars attached to the factory rails, I have to let my canoe hang off the back of the vehicle further than I like. Could I add a third load bar towards the front of the roof using a bare-roof system? Can the two systems work together? Thanks!

I do have an option for you for more support but we don't have any three crossbar setups for a 2012 Honda Pilot. Instead, you will need to add a hitch mounted load support like the Malone Axis Truck Bed and Roof Load Extender for 2" Hitches part # MPG907 which will offer the support you need for longer loads like a canoe.
