30A TOW TAIL Fuse on a 2020 Toyota Tundra

Question:

I have a 2020 Toyota Tundra CrewMax with the tow package. The 7 pin harness works properly for towing my travel trailer. All trailer lights and the brake controller works properly. I recently purchased an electric trailer jack from you EJ-3520-BBX and have discovered that I am not getting 12v from the 7 pin harness like I should. I originally purchased the EJ-3527-BBX with the integrated 7 pin harness, but due to the extended Iead time for that item, I purchased the EJ-3520-BBX and a PK12706 7 pin connector to build my own harness. Via my research I have seen that on some trucks a fuse or a relay needs to be adjusted/added to enable this, but have not found any info specific to the Tundra. With all of the other wiring always working perfectly, it feels like I must be missing something. Maybe the TOW TAIL relay is not engaging to energize the 12v pin on harness. Hoping that you have seen this before and might have some advice.

You will want to get under the hood of your 2020 Toyota Tundra and find the 30A TOW TAIL Trailer side light fuse in the #9 position. This is what will control the power going to your 7-way way harness. This fuse is either missing, blown, or there is a fault somewhere between your fuse box and the item # PK12706 7-way harness. If this doesn't fix your power issue with your item # EJ-3520-BBX jack go ahead and email me back.
