Recommended Air Bag System for a 2018 Ford F-150

Question:

Im pulling a 7,500lb. GVW trailer with a 2018 f-150. I try to keep the trailer weight at about 7,000lb. going down the road and everything is doing well. I plan on putting a leveling kit on my pickup and am considering adding the Airlift Load Lifter 5000 when I do in order to maintain the level stance of the truck once I connect to the trailer. I know nothing about airbags...so heres a few questions: 1 What benefit is there to adding them to the suspension system? 2 How will they help the towing performance?

Adding a set of air bags to your 2018 Ford F-150 will accomplish both of your goals. They will level out your truck and help when you are towing. I recommend the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Springs w/ Internal Bumpers item # AL88385.

These air springs have a 5,000 lbs capacity that will keep the rear end of your truck up when you are hauling your trailer. The best part about air bags is not only are they good for towing they can be used for daily driving to give you a more comfortable ride.

The air springs are also able to have the PSI adjusted individually. This will allow you to compensate for off center loads like heavy slide outs. To do this you can use the Air Lift Load Controller Compressor System item # AL25856. This is a dual path on board air compressor that gives you the ability to adjust the PSI in the bags individually while you are on the go.
