What PSI Should My Trailer Tires Be Inflated To?

Question:

With these tires inflated to 125 Cold, what is the Maximum Temperature and Maximum Pressure that these tires should be operated at while towing? For TPMS Alert Settings and safety.

Expert Reply:

When it comes to proper tire pressure for the Westlake 215/75R17.5 Radial Tire w/ 17-1/2" Wheel # LHAS701, you're going to want to always follow what's on the sidewall of the trailer for the maximum tire pressure when it's cold.

However, 20-25% of the max tire pressure is what the max PSI should be, and 158°F is pretty common for max temp. If you want a more exact, you'd need to reach out to the manufacturer.
