Troubleshooting A Trailer That Blows A Fuse After New LED Lights Were Installed
Question:
I recently redid my trailer with all LED lights. There is 4 in the front. 10 along each side. And 8 brake lights along the back. It worked fine but now I’m running into a problem where it is blowing 20 amp fuses. Sometimes it works but other times it blows instantly. Where is the best place to start? All wiring was new during the install

Since you mentioned that sometimes the lights work, sometimes they don't would tell me that there is a short somewhere in your wiring.
I recommend inspecting all of your new wiring for any wires that are frayed, pinched, or broken that could be causing a short. You may also consider checking on your grounds as well, as a bad ground may also be causing your lights to work intermittently.
I have also included a couple of FAQ's that should also help aid you in the troubleshooting process.
