Parts Needed to Install Yakima Round Bar Roof on 2001 Toyota 4Runner with Roof Tracks

Question:

I have a 2001 Toyota 4Runner with factory rack “rails” and crossbars. I removed the factory crossbars and added Yakima “feet” or towers that install in the stock rails. They are failing and I would like to replace them. I am sending a few pictures so you can see what I’m referring to and how they mount. Please let me know what I need to replace these so I can continue to use my rack system.

Thanks for the pictures of your rack. You have a Yakima Round Bar setup that has been updated so while you'd be able to reuse your roundbars on your 2001 Toyota 4Runner you'd need a new set of feet and fit kit.

For that you'd need the

SkyLine Towers for Yakima Crossbars # Y00148
Landing Pad 1 # Y00221
RoundBar adapter part # Y03536

You already have the roundbars but for that you'd normally use the part # Y00409
