What is the spacing measurement between the brackets that the bolt goes through? The Demco bracket on my current towbar measures 1.5 inches of clearance. Thanks

I went and pulled a RoadMaster Tow Bar to Demco Base Plates Adapter # RM-034 from our warehouse and measured the distance between the brackets and found it to be 1-1/2 inches.

Depending on the style of the Demco baseplate you could need a different adapter for your Roadmaster Sterling All Terrain Tow Bar #RM-576. For a tabless-style you would need part #DM9523062 since your serial number is higher than 14,500. For a…

The Replacement Connecting Clevis for Demco Commander Tow Bar #DM13582-81 shank is 1-1/2 inches by 5/8 inch. The flanges are 1-3/16 inches apart. I've attached a photo with these dimensions to assist.

The Demco adapter part #DM9523023 wouldn't work for that application as it's for going from a Roadmaster to Demco so you'd need something like the part #BX88310 which goes from Blue Ox base plates to a Demco tow bar.
