How To Add a 7-Way To a 2022 Nissan Pathfinder with 4-Way
Question:
I had the dealer install a factory hitch and wiring-it was not equipt from factory. My issue is that I need to add a brake controller. What are my options? I know I will have to wire one in, do I still needed the 119190KIT? I do have the 7 way connector to add on, it uses the existing 4 way plug plus you need run to ground, power, and brake controller wires. Thanks.

The best option we offer for adding a seven way trailer connector to a vehicle with an existing four way flat is the 4 to 7-Way with 4-Way Adapter Kit part # ETBC7. This kit does included the trailer connector adapter but what makes it stand out from the other adapters is that it has all of the other wires and circuit breakers you need to hook-up a trailer brake controller like the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90195. You'll need to run; power, ground, and brake output for the connector. You'll also need to run: power, ground, brake output, and stop light for the controller. This kit has everything you need for this.
