Replacing 4,400LB Straight Beam Trailer Axle With 5,200LB Timbren Axle-Less System
Question:
Hi, I was looking for a 4400lb trailer axle which measures 94 hub face to hub face and 80 center pin to center pin. I dont see any on your site and was wondering if a 7000 lb application would work with all my hardware.

As we do not have any axles with the 94" hub face and 80" leaf spring center measurement you are looking for I recommend the Timbren Axle-Less Suspension # ASR5200S01. This particular system will allow you to get rid of your leaf springs and hangers for an progressive rate spring suspension. This helps to cut down on the bouncing you may have with an empty trailer. It also gets rid of the axle tube which gives you better ground clearance.
You will need the Electric Trailer Brake Kit # AKEBRK-7-SA and two of the Easy Grease Trailer Hub and Drum Assemblies # AKHD-655-6-EZ-K as your parts from the 4,400lb axle will not be able to be reused.
