I do have a C.A.R.B. compliant catalytic converter for your 1987 Chevrolet El Camino w/ 5.0L engine, but it will not be part # MF39456. You will need the MagnaFlow Ceramic Catalytic Converter - Stainless Steel - Direct Fit - California Approved, part # MF56RP. The C.A.R.B. executive order # is D-193-150.
