Since you already have a 4-way connection on your 2002 Toyota Sequoia the only thing you will need is the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7. This kit comes with the adapter, wiring, and everything else you need to upgrade your connection to a 7-way. It also maintains the 4-way connection so you will be able to use both without an additional adapter.
If you're adding a 7-way to tow a trailer with brakes you will also need a brake controller. I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty # RED24FR. The main unit of this brake controller mounts in an out of sight location with only the control knob visible in the cab of your vehicle. The knob controls the braking power and also acts as the manual override. You will also need the # RED69FR wiring harness for installation.
I have attached some installation videos for your reference.
