Which Roadmaster Active Suspension Kit for 2018 Ford F-150 Towing Travel Trailer

Question:

I tow a 6,000# tt with my 2018 F-150 using a WDH. I’m considering a RAS because I still have a little bit of porpoising. Given the weight of the trailer, would the standard or heavy duty RAS be recommended? Would this help with the porpoising? Also, I just installed Bilstein 4600 rear shocks. I understand the RAS will add an inch or so to the rear ride height. Since the 4600’s are for standard height trucks, would the additional height from the RAS be compatible with these shocks?

For a trailer that heavy I would recommend the heavier duty RAS kit part # RAS94FR to give you the support you are needing. This will help a lot with porpoising. This also won't necessarily give you a lift beyond stock height unless you really cranked up the support adjustment. The truck would sit higher when towing a trailer but when not towing it shouldn't make a huge difference. This kit would be perfectly compatible with your Billstein shocks as well and there would be no height issues.
