How to Test to Determine Correct Stoplight Switch Circuit for Red Wire of Brake Controller Install

Need to know what color wires on the truck brake light switch goes to the color wires on a POD brake controller?

Since we don't know what the wire color functions are on the brake switch of your truck the best solution we have would be to use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to test all of the wires for voltage only when the brakes are applied to see which is correct wire to use for red wire of the brake controller.
