How To Add a Trailer Brake Controller To a 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L
Question:
Hello, We are working on a 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L and we are trying to install a trailer brake controller. The connector for the brake controller harness on the factory vehicle side is not there in the vehicle. From what i read is if the vehicle was not equipped with the factory hitch the connector will not be in the vehicle. i was wondering if you guys had a solution for it?

I do have an option for you but there are no trailer brake controller provisions on a 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L, therefore there are no plugs behind the dash to plug a brake controller into. In order to avoid a bunch of splicing into the vehicle I recommend the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller part # C51180, you just need the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness part # C27BR and 4 to 7-Way with 4-Way Adapter part # ETBC7L to make this all work.
