Best 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Option for a 2022 Ford F-350 Super Duty
Question:
I just got a 2022 Ford F-350 CCLB and it has the in-bed pucks. We want to tow a 5th wheel but not sure which hitch to go with and why, can you help?

The best fifth wheel trailer hitch option for a 2022 Ford F-350 Super Duty is the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch for Ford Super Duty Prep Package part # BWRVK3305 which has a 25,000 lb weight capacity. This is a direct, drop-in hitch designed to use the factory puck system. It's made right here in the USA and has a lifetime warranty.
It is the best option out there for a few reasons, the first of which being the jaw design. The B&W Companion has a very thick dual jaw system which provides great security and comfort as it grips the kingpin tight and does not allow for play which creates a smooth ride. The second reason comes down to the release handle design, it has a cam-action which makes for uncoupling on un-even ground much easier so you don't have to worry as much about the terrain where you park. The final reason comes down to the removable head. The hitch is not light, nor is it supposed to be. It's purposely overbuilt with thick steel to be reliable and durable. This means it can take some strength getting it in and out of the truck bed but the head can be removed separately which makes for an easier lift on your back.
