Removing Oil Cooler Sandwich Adapter
Question:
How to remove an existing stacked plate oil cooler. The adapter that attaches @ the oil filter seems to just spin

The sleeve nut and the sandwich adapter are actually two separate pieces. It is possible that the adapter is loose enough to turn, but the nut is staying in place. Try using some channel lock pliers (put a rag around adapter so you do not damage it) to hold the adapter stationary while you loosen the sleeve nut. This should allow the whole thing to come off for you.
