Will B&W Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch for 2004 Silverado 2500 HD 6-1/2 Foot Bed Fit 8 Foot Bed

I have a 2004 Chevy Silverado 2500 6ft bed a friend gave me his hitcha 2500HD hitch 8ft will it fit my bed ?

If your friend gave you the # BWGNRK1012 it is designed to fit 2011-2015 models. If your friend had a 2004 with a different size bed you have the # BWGNRK1067. The # BWGNRK1067 uses the GNRM1067 B and W Turn Over Ball Under-Bed Rail Kit which fits both the 6-1/2' and 8' bed so you would be able to use the hitch.

Unfortunately, if the hitch came off of a 2011-2015 the rail kit would not fit and the center section would not be usable with the rail kit you need. This means the only option would be to purchase the # BWGNRK1067 if you need a gooseneck hitch.
