Compatibility of e94CR Class III Hitch on 2022 Audi Q5 Plug In Hybrid
Question:
Looking to confirm that the 76183 hitch will fit on a vehicle I am about to purchase in the 2022 Audi Q5 PHEV Hybrid. Want to confirm no battery removal requirements and no safety or other issues that I should be concerned with. Thanks for the information.

The # e94CR Class III hitch is a fit for your 2022 Audi Q5 plug-in hybrid.
Per the instructions, no battery removal is required. Installation will require that the rear bumper beam and the crossbar that sits above it are removed and left off the vehicle, with the hitch taking their place. The hitch is actually more substantial than the structures it replaces, so installing the hitch won't have any negative safety implications.
If you'll be towing with the hitch, you'll also need a trailer wiring harness like part # 119250KIT.
