Determining The Correct Replacement Wheels For A 1979 Triggs Stock Trailer With 7.00-15 Tires
Question:
I am wondering what information you would need to get a replacement rim for a 1979 Triggs Stock Trailer? It is a 15 solid rim with 7.00 15 tires.

The closest size to a 7.00x15 tire would be a 225/75-15. These tires can fit on a 6 to 7 inch wide rim. But they are a little taller at 28.4 inches versus 27.88 for a 7.00x15. So basically, going to a 6 inch wide rim would be ideal.
The Dexstar Conventional Steel Wheel # AM20504 you were looking at is a 15x6 inch with a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern. But it also has a positive 5mm offset meaning the tire will be closer to the trailer frame by 5mm. You would have to make sure you have the available space between the tire and trailer.
I've attached a link to one of our wheel/tire help articles to offer you some additional information as well as a link to our 15" wheels with a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern so that you can look through the long list of different colors and designs and find the right aesthetic for your trailer. I wasn't able to filter it down more to just 15 x 6 so there will be some 15 x 5's in there as well.
