Economy Electric A-Frame Jack For Forest River Salem Travel Trailer
Question:
Hi, I have a 2020 Forest River Salem FSX travel trailer. We would like to replace the hand crank tongue jack with a electric one. I don’t know what the max weight is. Could you please tell me which is the best “economy” electric tongue jack for my camper? Thanks

The best option for an economy electric A-frame jack for your 2020 Forest River Salem FSX travel trailer is one from Ultra-Fab:
- Ultra-Fab Electric A-Frame Jack # UF38-944017
The Ultra-Fab # UF38-944017 is priced extremely well and is relatively speedy, lifting six inches in 25 seconds with 1,000 lbs of tongue weight (it has a 3,500 lb capacity), which may not seem swift, but really is. Consider that your Forest River will certainly have less tongue weight than that, and it will be even faster for you.
The # UF38-944017 is a really good value, and is priced so well because it simply get the job done without any fluff. There is a simple on/off toggle switch and lights on the side so you can use the jack even when it's dark, but otherwise it will simple extend and retract as needed.
