Finding Reverse Light Circuit on 2022 Jeep Cherokee for 5-Way Adapter

Question:

can you tell me where I can connect to the blue backup feed wire on my 2022 jeep cherokee? The backup lights a located in the rear lift gate so do I have to run a wire from there or is there someplace in the body of the vehicle that I can pickup the blue feed wire?

What you'll want to do is find the wire loom that goes from the hatch to the body of the vehicle (typically near the top of it) and test the wires that go into it with a tester like # PTW2993 till you find the circuit that is only active when in reverse. Then note the color of the wire and trace it to where it goes behind the panels of the vehicle and tap into it there for the 5-way adapter like # C57187.
