What Flat Platform do You Recommend for My 2022 Hyundai Tucson with Factory Crossbars?

For my 2022 Tucson SEL with factory rails and crossbars I am looking for flat, smooth, solid platform for the roof that I can walk on and do photography using a heavy tripod. Do you have anything like that?

The absolute best option we have to a flat platform you are looking for is either the Rhino-Rack Universal Pioneer Platform Rack for Crossbars - Aluminum - 48" Long x 38" Wide # RR42114BF or the larger Rhino-Rack Universal Pioneer Platform Rack for Crossbars - Aluminum - 58" Long x 47" Wide # RR42115BF. In order to know if these racks work for you, I have some dimensions available. According to Rhino-Rack, the top planks of these models are 6-1/4 inches wide and spaced 2-1/4 inches apart. This will give you a rough idea if your tripod will have enough width and stability to stand on.

Both of these platforms are designed to attach directly to your factory crossbars. For the # RR42114BF, you need at least 38 inches of crossbar space and for the # RR42115BF, you need at least 47 inches of crossbar space. Also, I recommend measuring the height and width of your crossbars to make sure the clamps of the platforms can grasp around them. As long as your crossbars do not exceed 3" wide x 1-1/2" tall, you are good to go!
