Recommended Bike Rack Options for a 2022 RPOD 190
Question:
I am purchasing a 2022 RPOD 190 and the spare is mounted on the back. I already have a hitch bike rack I love on my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. 1. Is there a hitch I can bolt onto my Rpod to put the rack on? 2. Or is there a bike rack you recommend that fits in front of the RPOD? Thanks

Congratulations on the new 2022 RPOD 190. We have several options for you, such as the Ultra-Fab 2" Motor Home Trailer Hitch Receiver for 4" x 4" Bumpers, # UF35-946402. This clamps around your RV's 4" square bumper to provide a receiver opening for hitch-mounted accessories - such as your bike rack. Although this must be a bike approved for use on a travel trailer.
My recommendation is to consider the Jack-It 2 Bike Rack for A-Frame Trailers, # LC429756. This bike rack mounts on the front of your RPOD bolting to the A-frame. It has the bikes setting above your tongue jack and this makes it easy to see in the rear-view mirror of your vehicle. The adjustable wheel cradles have rubber straps that hold the bikes by the wheels making it compatible with all frame styles and sizes. It even accommodates fat tire bikes, and the 22-1/2" tall base accommodates most electric tongue jacks.
There is also the option of the Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk Trailer-Mounted Bike Rack Carrier for A-Frame Trailers, # CC-275. This too mounts on your A-frame trailer tongue and then provides a 2" receiver for a bike rack to be installed to.
Please note that there is a rating for a bike rack must be approved for use behind an RV, not all bike racks are.
I hope you find this information of value; I do think the Jack-It 2 Bike Rack for A-Frame Trailers, # LC429756 to be the best option but also wanted to provide options. Please note the linked product review videos below.
Happy Camping!
