Recommended Suspension Enhancement for 2000 Ford Excursion With 7 Lift
Question:
I have a 2000 ford excursion 7.3 4x4 with a 7inch lift. Will I need a special Sumo Spring for this application to compensate for the lift or will the standard Sumo Spring be what I need?

The SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle # SSR-109-40 are designed to be installed on vehicles at stock height. There are no spacers or other SumoSpring models designed for a lifted 2000 Ford Excursion like yours. Because of the size of your lift I recommend adding the RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit - Heavy Duty # RAS3621-HD for suspension enhancement.
The RAS kit installs on your leaf springs so the lift won't be a problem. This turns your leaf springs into a mechanically active system and will eliminate axle wrap and wheel hop. It will also reduce sway and body roll. These help extend the life of your leaf springs, shocks, shackles, and tires. They have a 3,000 lb weight capacity and come with a 5-year warranty.
I have attached a review video for your reference.
