Should SumoSprings for Trailer Axle Install in Front or Behind Axle
Question:
I own a 2021 Cherokee Wolf Pup 16BHS Black Label Travel Trailer. It is a single axle, with 5100# axle rating and 4999# GVWR. I purchased the SumoSprings Trailer Helper TSS-106-40. Im wondering what is the correct location to install these on my trailer? Most of the photos and videos Ive seen on etrailer show the install in front of the single axle, but some comments on SumoSprings website say it should be installed closer to the shackle, which would be behind the axle. Where should my Sumos go on my Wolf Pup? Thanks!

The instructions for the SumoSprings kit part # TSS-106-40 do not specify whether they should install in front of or behind the rear axle but I would recommend in front of the axle since most shock is going to be first on the front portion of the axle and since there would be less horizontal movement when suspension compresses since it's on side without the shackle.
