Location of Brake Controller Installation Port on 2000 Ford Expedition XLT
Question:
I am looking to add a Tekonsha P3 Brake controller to my 2000 Ford Expedition XLT. I see the Blue and Orange wires for the factory tow harness connection on the rear wireharness. However I cannot locate the tow package port located under the dash where I would plug the Brake controller into. I want to make sure I get the correct solution when I purchase this. Your assistance is very much appreciated.

The connector is gray in color, and should be located next to or behind the diagnostic port under the steering column, as you can see in the install video I'll link for you. You'll also need the # 3035-P brake controller wiring adapter. One end of the harness would plug into the rear of the P3 controller, the other end into the gray connector under the dash.
