Will Curt Tail Light Converter Work for Separated Brake Light on Tow Vehicle
Question:
I have a 2011 ambulance built on a MB sprinter chassis that I want to hook up my 4 prong trailor to. the MB has brown BRK,yellow Left sig Green Right sig white ground and blue tail light wires I tried a regular connector omiting the blue wire and the sprinter computer does not like it . directional signals, brake lights dont work and the MB gets error code. will this item # C56236 remedy this problem?

It sounds like the Curt Tail Light Converter # C56236 will definitely fix your problem. This wiring kit has provisions for a separated brake light circuit and it combines it in with the turn signals like what your standard trailer does. For this wiring kit you'll need to connect the following wires to the following functions:
Brown - Running
Green - Right Turn
Yellow - Left Turn
Red - Brake
White - Ground
Black - 12V Power (pulls power from battery to power trailer lights)
