Cargo Basket Solution that Can Fit Top Channels of TracRac Load Bars
Question:
I am interested in the Surco Rooftop Cargo Basket and want to mount it to my Ford F-250 that has the Thule TracRac bars over the truck bed. All of the mounting hardware I have seen either is for ractory roof rack/rails or the smaller square roof bars. I am looking for a larger, heavy duty basket and this looks like a great option but I am unsure how to mount. Thanks!

The Thule TracRac load bars are much thicker like you mentioned which means the cargo baskets that wrap around roof rack crossbars won't work since those bars are much smaller in diameter. The best option is a basket that can attach to the bars by the channel that's on the top of them and the largest option we have for that happens to be the Thule Canyon XT part # TH859XT which measures 49 by 40 inch.
