Parts Needed to Go From a 4-Bolt Hub to a 5-Bolt Hub on a Dexter 1,800 lb. Axle

Question:

Interested in replacing the 4-bolt hubs with 12inch wheels/tires on my Dexter P-12 axle to 5-lug to be able to use 13inch wheels/tires. Can you recommend parts needed for this swap? Thank-you.

For your Dexter axle you will use either the Trailer Idler Hub Assembly # AKIHUB-545-2-LF-2K (for bearing size L44649) or the Trailer Idler Hub Assembly # AKIHUB-545-2-LF-1K (for bearing size L44643). You would just want to pull off your current hub and check which bearing you have.

I have linked our selection of 13" wheels and tires that will fit either of the above hub assemblies.
