Is Stay-IN-Play DUO Compatible With Diesel Engine in 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Question:
is this compatible with the 3.0 diesel engine as far as the vacuum tap? it appears to be the same otherwise. also looks like it needs the brake switch. the other question is for the RM 521440-4 Crossbar Style Tow Bar Baseplate, does it interfere with the adaptive cruse control? 2014 grand cherokee summit diesel 4x4

Yes, both the versions of the Demco Stay-IN-Play DUO are compatible with the diesel engine on your 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and there is a Stay-IN-Play both with and without a wireless monitor:
- With Wireless Coachlink Monitor: Demco Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # DM86VR
- Without Wireless Coachlink Monitor: Demco Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251
You will not need the stop light switch with the DUO, however, as this system utilizes a controller that gets a signal from your motorhome and detects inertia to apply the appropriate braking power.
In regards to the base plates, I checked with Roadmaster and there will not be interference with the cruise control on your 2014 Grand Cherokee with the Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit # RM-521440-4.
