Why Isn't My Brake Controller Lighting Up When In Use
Question:
Bought a redarc brake control late last year and having it installed per instructions. Brake lights stay on and it says in the instructions there are led lights to check for errors. There are no lights. Any suggestions? Bought it for a 2016 Chevy Colorado.

If you are having trouble with your Redarc controller # RED24FR you need to first check the fuse that powers the brake controller. If you check the owner's manual it will let you know where the fuse is located at. You can also make sure that all of the pins on the receiving connector are all connecting with the controller itself. Sometimes the pins in the harness can get damaged or bent to the point where you would need to get a replacement adapter another option is to check that all the wires are connected properly.
I attached an installation video below.
